Shakespeare Society and Tagore Gandhi Institute have a renowned Library (partly State-aided) situated at 18/59  Dover Lane, Kolkata-700029 (Near Gariahat Crossing in South- Kolkata) containing around five thousand books a good part of which are devoted to Shakespeare and Shakespeare related titles from East and West including text books, journals, copies of M.Phil and Ph.D Theses, manuscripts, unpublished dissertations. The library also contains videos, CDs and DVDs of Shakespeare and other literary classics (Film and play versions in English and Bangla). The Library has a conference room, three reading rooms and an audio-visual corner. Seminars, Workshops, readings and discussion are regularly held in  the library premises.
